+ What does ‘pinning’ mean?
‘Pinning’ is a Pinterest term. People who explore Pinterest, ‘pin’ things of interest to them on their own “boards” or explore what others have ‘pinned’. Imagine a corkboard that has different pictures pinned to it - now imagine it virtually! Many people explore Pinterest for creative ideas like decorations, color schemes, food choices and food displays. All things typically needed when planning a party.
+I don’t have a Pinterest account, will that be a problem?
Not at all. I was inspired to create this course when my friend said, “My wedding colors, decorations and menu are all pinned. Now what do I do?” If you can visualize your party, this course will cover many of the logistics you need to make your dreams come to life.
**+ Is there a difference between ‘event’ and ‘party’? **
Nothing! I use the terms interchangeably because this course can be for anyone who is planning a party (birthday or anniversary), an event (a fundraiser for a non-profit organization) or even a wedding! All parties/events need a logistical mind to make the little things happen.
+ What does “produce an event” mean?
Producing an event means you are the person managing all of the details to make the event/party/wedding happen. You are the backbone of the event. Your attention to detail will ensure things happen as they should.
+ I’m not a fan of Pinterest. Will this course help me?
